Re: info required on F-4 @ Yanks Air Museum, Chino Ca

I found some info about Yanks having both a 'F-4J on display' and a 'F-4C in storage' somewhere in 2005. should that info be still correct, then indeed the a/c on the picture at Airliners is an unknown F-4J and not a C with the thingy cut away (in that case : anybody for the buno ?) then the additio...

Re: info required on F-4 @ Yanks Air Museum, Chino Ca

That's indeed the aircraft in question.

I was a bit confused, as it seems the guys / girls at the Yanks museum don't know the difference between a F-4C and a F-4J/S, as they mention it to be a F-4J/S on their website :)

Re: NAS Fallon/CVW-17

spent some time outside Fallon in August, also far away from the fence.
saw a police-car pass by, the officer definitely saw us, but did not bother stopping.

But, just for the sake of preventing issues I moved to a spot underneath 31L, a bit more 'out of view' from people passing by.

Re: landscape pic's

hi Leon,

To be honest, I can't exactly recall, but I don't think it was at Soda Springs.
I believe it was just a bit further up the road to junction with 120E (to Tioga)

Re: landscape pic's

I was glad to see it finally, very impressive knowing that they took 'only' 14 years to build it. saw a lot of buffalo's / bizons in Yellowstone, but only visit...
