Re: Red Flags Nellis 13-3

Hi, Did anyone catch the serials from the 3 Chinooks? we saw one flying on tuesday march 5th with callsign "40305". Not many did the effort to take a little walk during the early morning hours and read these three. It wasn't easy, but we did. Noted were: 0-00305 (CH-47D 92-00305) 0-80066 (CH-47D 88-...

Re: US trip, day 1, Nellis (photo) incl. OT F-35A

Nice! :D Here are a few more. Can't remember a day I made three new B-2's (in fact I never did until today)... http://vault.crouze.com/MDX-130306-AC18277-x.jpg The wind was challenging today, so were (as often is) the light conditions. http://vault.crouze.com/MDX-130306-AC18306-x.jpg The two F-35's ...

Sort of "military":

US Department of State DHC.8 N568AW, all white c/s, just landed, for maintenance.

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL

Well, Last night we managed to catch up with the MS Dynamica while still in the Antwerp harbour, in the Van Cauwelaert locks (Van Cauwelaertsluis) to be precise. The timing was perfect, and this is a good spot because there is no problem here to get very close to the vessel and its cargo. Dark it su...

Oh sh*t, that's pretty conclusive, and we never knew...

Certainly not fitting for Chinooks, possibly neither for Blackhawks (but again...presuming), but now we know definitely for Apache's... :|

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL

Well,

Apparently, the Vera did not have any helicopters on board the last time she made the trip. That doesn't mean she won't have the next time. We'll wait and see.

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL

Well, Of the about 40 shots, five came out more or less okay. Grainy, but good enough for a sense of atmosphere. Inside the Kammersluizen lock. Chinooks were (and are here) easy to spot, Apaches were initially a bit harder: http://vault.crouze.com/MDX-130128-AC18062-x.jpg Passing under the road brid...

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL

Uhm... nice pic, the big question is how many AH-64 are under deck That's easy: zero. These are flat barges and there is no such thing here as "under deck"... The bigger question is: what and how many were already moved last week? Anyway, caught this load passing the Krammersluizen, nice view of the...

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL

Hi, The Dynamica is on the move, departed from its mooring some 10 minutes ago. It is still in the Antwerp harbour so could be a repositioning, we'll see. During previous transports there was no movement during night time, so I'm curious where (and if) the Dynamica will moor after sunset. Cheers, Ma...

Well, On the Hkp4Bs on the otherside: Note that 04076/76 was marked as 04 2 076/76. Read ourselves. It was already marked as such at Ronneby in 2004! Also some of the Sk60s had different wing markings: Sk60A 60118/118 LSS/FlygSkolan F10 markings 60100 also F10 markings. 60039 and 60105 had the sword...
