Re: Surinam Airways expansion plans

Jeez, isn't there this tiny little airline that will be offloading two of its six 767's next month? - Vintage 1989 - First operator from manufacture, never flown by some shady Brasilian or African airline - very well maintained, mostly in AMS and SNN - only 100.000+ airframe hours - easlily converti...

Denk dat EFB hiermee in de war is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_Reserve_Air_Fleet" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Zie TFL niet op het lijstje staan.. :evilbat:

Re: ArkeFly praat/discussie/speculeer corner !!!

76-er, you said before that 2 of the 4 744MP's would go back to the lessor, that seems to be incorrect?
It appears canceling the leasecontract turned out to be a bit too expensive..

Pff, not THAT old. They have about 60-some thousand hours on them. That's about half of what's on MP's 767's. The 744 is certified to fly up to 160.000 hours, so plenty of life left in them.

Indeed.

MPS will take its place the next day, to return from XMN on may 3rd. By then we should know what MPQ's fate will be.

Exact dates are not yet known.

off topic: what's left of the 767 fleet will operate 3 daily flights on weekdays, 4 on sat/sun.

When are they flying out to the desert or any other location?
MPP will fly to MZJ tomorrow as MP141.
MPQ will most likely follow when the C-checks on MPR and MPS are completed.
