Snowy Zeltweg

At the end of January I visited Zeltweg to catch some Eurofighters in the snow armed with IRIS-T missiles. Fortunately, the sun came through on the second day, with the following results: http://www.milaviapress.com/dirk-jan-de-ridder/zeltweg-1.jpg http://www.milaviapress.com/dirk-jan-de-ridder/zelt...

BHELA I: Spanish Bo-105s and Tigres

In September I visited the attack helicopter battalion (BHELA I / Batallón de Helicópteros de Ataque I) of the Spanish Army, flying Bo-105s and the new Eurocopter Tiger. Here's some of my photos: http://www.milaviapress.com/dirkjan/2013/bhela-1.jpg http://www.milaviapress.com/dirkjan/2013/bhela-2.jp...

Re: Bückeburg (ETHB) - 2013 MIL

I don't think the CH-53s still belong to the HFWS, because all CH-53s have been transferred to the Luftwaffe (which explains the GAF callsign). For the same reason, all Luftwaffe HSG 64 NH90s will be or were transferred to the HEER, so I guess the one you saw is now in HFWS use..

Re: Photoshop CS6 issue, wrong color rendition

No, I'm sure it's some kind of setting you applied inside Photoshop itself. The only problem is how to find the exact menu where you can turn this function off..

Re: Photoshop CS6 issue, wrong color rendition

My guess is that Photoshop is telling you what parts of the image are over-saturated (although the image looks fine to me). If you decrease or increase Saturation, does the situation change? I'm not familiar with CS6, but if it does change there should be a way to turn these 'saturation warnings' of...

Misschien even zoeken op Booking.com? Kan je sorteren op kwaliteit, prijs voor 1- of 2-persoonskamer, afstand tot vliegveld, etc, etc..

Re: T-33 near Barajas

I think I saw this one, 2 months ago. I am pretty sure it is located in the industrial area just east of the M50 (but visible from the A2). If you check Google Streetview, a big truck is blocking the view to the right so you cannot see it. This is just where I think I remember it was, so don't shoot...

Re: Vervanging F-16's

Re: A sunny morning at Fliegerhorst Laage...

Nice shots! Were you forbidden to photograph the inside of the left hand air intake? Just curious because I was forbidden to do so at Nörvenich and I can't see any photos of that 'top scret antenna' in your shots..

Re: laag, lager, laagst

You normally only see this kind of low level flying on YouTube, but this time I was filming it myself in a Bo-105 of the Spanish Army!
