Re: ETAD 07-07-2020

This morning (app. 2 hrs ago) I noted (on ADSB only) 84-0062 heading South-East out of Spangdahlem, to turn around heading for Ramstein:

Should be a good candidate for you (and is 1 out of 3 I still need ...)

Re: Waalhaven 06.07.2020

Thanks flyboy, will try those spots in case I give this a try.
The trip has some potential for failure and frustration if the count does not match ..... still undecided.

Waalhaven 06.07.2020

Thinking about visiting Rotterdam before the last helicopters seem to be expected for tomorrow. After I had no time catching them on their way to Eindhoven or Rotterdam, and as also going to Welschap each evening would have left gaps, I went there Monday but then studied the excellent reports here. ...

Re: bridge cameras

Thanks Mike. While SLR digital cameras with interchangeable lenses still seem to be THE standard, technology moves on, and I feel tempted looking closer at the bridge cam scene. Life test at Frisian Flag for example :o) The Sony seems more or less double in price compared to the Lumix and also Nikon...

bridge cameras

Hi all, After sticking to analog photography rather long, being a happy Canon + Sigma user, I used the same brands when entering the digital era. With average results, likely based on a too basic Canon model, and after last season saw some trouble with my equipment I will make a re-start this year. ...

Re: Wittmund 2020

3 years would be rather speedy, compared to BER ... (Hamburg opera, Stuttgart train station .....)

So let us take the 3 years as the theoretical target. Bets will be possible.

I may say so, being German :-)

..... and the Dutch are much faster and efficient with motorway repairs .....

Re: British Phantom Aviation Group

In the old scheme it looked better, for my taste. I was lucky catching it at Boscombe Down back in May 1982.
However, though there are photos in this post, I cannot add mine for some reason. jpg, jpeg, bmp all not allowed :-/

Re: Ramstein 15-12-2019

Visuals always preferred :-)
However as I had noted a KC-10 over my terrace heading South at 12:20 yesterday, I checked adbechange.com / ads-b.nl and there it said 85-0031 as RCH451, which went to Ramstein. Sure about 86-0031? This was reported as 60 MAW in Sep-19.

ADEX airshow Seongnam 19.10.2019

Here are what I noted at Seongnam on the ADEX airshow, 19-Oct-19. A bit more planned then the stop here on Tuesday, still with limited capabilities of my soon to be replaced camera, but at least with a proper scope, the airshow on Saturday brought the following: Opening formation – till now my big d...

ADEX 2019 Seongnam - 15.10.2019

Hi all, Here is what I noted at Seongnam on the ADEX opening day, 15-Oct-19. As the stop here was not really planned for that day, I did not have proper tools with me, 200 mm lens + mini scope only, but anyhow Opening formation Flight 1 - E-737 65-329 271 AEW&CF, F-16C 077 (??), 082 (??) RoKAF (both...

Re: Evreux/Fauville (LFOE) 2019

Thanks for the report. We noted R160 as wfu and kind of being stripped in July 2017, when it was listed in the database here as destined for some civilian registration, to become F-(XXXX). But this status seems having changed, now it is just shown as 'stored' at Evreux. How does it look today? Diffe...
