Re: Road runners A2 (2x Dutch F16)

They are stored at Soesterberg in preparation for scrapping. I believe when they are ready to be converted to bean cans they move them to a Military Establishment near Dongen and then on to the scrap-man. So more than likely on their final leg to the scrap man.

Re: Road runners A2 (2x Dutch F16)

Steve,

These were reportedly on their way to be converted to tin cans having temporarily been stored at the barracks in Soesterberg. 3 left in total and no longer exist :(

Re: Operational Dutch F-16's

Excellent updates on the active Dutch F-16S,

I can confirm from an earlier comment that J-142 has indeed been scrapped and was not transferred for spares to the Portuguese. Additionally the Instructional F-16 at Kleine Brogel is in-fact J-624 F-16AM :D

Re: Flughafen Berlin-Tegel (EDDT/TXL) 2020 MIL

Many thanks for your log at Tegel. You report 82+01 in the hangar on the 5th August 2020. Could you confirm what time this was please?

That day GAF822 was flying all day to the south of Germany and was calling GAF822 in old colours.

Re: Log Bastille Day & Others

As far as I’m aware there were only three Cougars. Can anybody confirm if CGN/CGW which one is the addition?

I’m guessing one is a mis-pole?

Re: Log Bastille Day & Others

Cheers mate appreciate it. A friend visited first thing this morning and reported 6, one of which was EAZ which as you rightly said was stationed elsewhere in Paris during the parade. Guess that leaves just the one unaccounted for

It should actually be F-AYXG and I have amended accordingly. Many thanks for the PdF I didn’t really pay much attention to them.
