Istrana has always been nice to take pictures with very low problems for taking pictures. The main problems are due to parking in the fields that farmers do not like a lot...so they call police...

these pictures were taken at rwy 08 with a 1,3x factor and a 420mm lens (300+1,4x).

Just for info, this little museum is a privat one and the owner is a enthusiast that pay itself the machines so this is the reason why you pay and why some aircraft are not in good conditions. It's difficoult to say which is main used. For this hobby you need all the focal lenghts you can. Infact when you enter bases/airshows you need a wide zoom and medio tele zoom for static and taxyshots. Here you are covered with the 17-85 but you need some more reach like a 70-xxx zoom.
