It has been a while since I had an oppertunity to shoot some aircraft due to my work and during my last trip on water we entered the habour of Stavanger. This year again Leeuwarden airbase was host for the exercise Frisian Flag. Normally I try to get several days off from work but this time managed only to get a single day so I had to hope that the weathergods were in my favour. Luckily for me they were. Here is a small impression of that day. http:/...
Finally it arrived at Leeuwarden after many problems and rescheduling several times.
It arrved around 1615 but had to wait untill the local F16's were in.
Finally found some time to visit TLP 02-2009 with its great participants. During the first departures the light was still slighty on the wrong side of the aircraft but that couldn't spoil the day. Here's a small impression of that day. http://www.flyingbrick.nl/tlp0209/1.jpg http://www.flyingbrick.n...

Most of the times when I'm in the vicinity I allways try to visit the platform at ABELAG at Brussels airport. The reason for this is that a lot of military VIPaircraft park here when they visit nearby NATO HQ in Evere or visiting the council of the European Union in Brussels. http://www.flyingbrick....
Luxemburg airshow takes place at former USAFE airbase Bitburg in Germany. In 2005 I made the effort to take a look at this event. Judging by its military past the hopes were set high on a great number of military participants but unfortunately only a few turned up. http://www.flyingbrick.nl/bitburg0...
