Re: Finally evidence of Japanese F-4EJ's in Germany, 80-ties

goodmorning, do not share that opinion. you want to see that hans. But in my opinion the sade on the german f-4 is in front of it. Yes it will be a nice discussion. but just be patience. there will be evidence in the future. so in my opnion and I have enough people who witnessed the f-4's (sadly wit...

Re: Finally evidence of Japanese F-4EJ's in Germany, 80-ties

scuderia,
TAM 1984 where the japanese participated in together with their german collegues, was in June/July I believe. so not the prototype but 434 seemed also to have been modified by that time.!

Re: Finally evidence of Japanese F-4EJ's in Germany, 80-ties

good morning to you all, air-air refuelling with the japanese was indeed possible in 1984: a quote from a book on the japanese f-4's: On 20 February 1982 the Jasdf announced an upgrade programme or SLEP of the F-4EJ to extend the multirole capabilities. Amongst radar modigifcations etc and the use o...

Re: Finally evidence of Japanese F-4EJ's in Germany, 80-ties

As I mentioned earlier the pictures are copied (mabye several times). But I asked for originals, so be patience. But on the picture so can see the Japanese F-4 and in the background a JaBo-35 F-4. You can see the pictures too on flugzeugforum-> jets. Together with the stories of former Luftwaffe guy...

Re: Drachten (EHDR) - 2009 MIL

Just heard that the exercise near Hindeloopen is taking place just as the NOTAM already mentioned: 2 miles out the coast. A pity.

Re: SAR meet 2009

From 10.30 lt with intervals of 30 minutes the choppers will be arriving at airport Drachten. landing is the intention, receiving an envelope and take-off for their next "target".

Re: SAR meet 2009

good morning,
maybe this evening or else tomorrow I can hopefully tell you where they are going to operate in the harbour of hindeloopen (which is still the place it seems) or as the notam tells more distance from the coast.
The other option is of course vliegveld Drachten.
