Rumours say about some 12 A-10's landed at Lajes yesterday. Anyone got any ideas of which unit and which way they are heading? A total of 12 MI A-10s are now at Lajes according to messages on Fightercontrol UK forum. C-17 is now logged above the UK.

The C-17 was logged this morning near Palmer, MA at 03.38 GMT. So I believe its enroute.

Coincidence?? Maybe wishfull thinking, but a US Navy carrier is due to arrive (and stay) in the UK by the end of next week.
