Due to runway reconstruction at RAFG Laarbruch, 20 sqn was temporaly based at RAFG Wildenrath in august 1987.

The photo on Bing maps is more recent, it's after closure of EHSB you can see the white crosses on the begining of the runway 27/09 Even this photo is not the present nowadays almost all HAS type 1 are demolished and the motor hush aswell. http://www.bing.com/maps/#JnE9LnNvZXN0ZXJiZXJnJTdlc3N0LjAlN2...

Is this slope on the golf-course or on "De Kooy" itself for use by helicopters?

Zo te zien heeft bing maps zijn foto's geupdate.
Volkel is bv. zichtbaar tijdens de tigermeet.

In verband met het maken van een scenery van vliegbasis Deelen voor FSX ben ik op zoek naar informatie. Aangezien ik zelf niet in de buurt van dit vliegveld woon vandaar mijn vraag of er nog steeds approach verlichting staat op baankop 20 of dat deze eventueel inmiddels is verwijderd. Wanneer mogeli...

I was there last friday (29 april), the first wave took off was at 08:00 o'clock and came in at 09:00 o'clock.
Second wave took off at 11:30 o'clock and came back at 12:30 o'clock.
Seen 6 Phantoms and 1 A4 flying.
