Some pictures from the SAR Exercise 'GRIFONE 2011'. The exercise take place almost every year in Italy. Countries involved were Italy with several armed forces, France, Swiss and Malta...unluckily this year Spain didn't take part in the exercise. Perfect lens for jets is a 300mm (considered mounted on 1,5x digital camera). 200mm is perfect for transports...

This is the third such exercise, after France and Spain. The next exercises in the Agency’s successful Helicopter Training Programme take place in Portugal (HOT BLADE 2012, July 2012) and Belgium (GREEN BLADE 2012, October 2012).
