And a lot better than when I was there last thursday.... But still, I think the sun in the KC-10 picture was high in the sky, as in a summer around no...

Nice 1st of april's joke! The fact that it says Ramstein today gives it away though...I don't think the sun has been shining so brightly yet this morning at Ramstein.

One more vote here for the threeship! Absolutely gorgeous pic. And indeed lovely sky on the second E-4 shot. I'm a little disapointed that I wasn't able to go, it would have been my last E-4 (numberwise that is). @ sfeyenoord1: when was this one at Schiphol then? The last E-4 that visited in October...

When we were in the terminal 1, an AB139 arrived on the other side of the field. It looked like a miliairy one as it carried a very light camouflaged color scheme. Not marking were noted from the distance we were at. Found some pictures of some Omani AB139s but the cs we noticed was slightly lighte...

Now that's a different story!

Your pics look crystal clear and very sharp to me, but the colours seem a bit dull on my monitor. Is my monitor to blame or do others see this the same way? I've got the feeling that they would look even better with some vibrance added.

The only American based plane there is the baseflight's C-26. C-2's will only be based if there's a carrier around in the med, but you could expect some USN P-3's on deployment. And don't forget the Italian 41st stormo with their Atlantics (or is it Atlantiques?).
