One of Team Vipers Jet Provost crashed yesterday. Details unknown (crew is OK), but this might effect this seasons display plan.

Re: Off topic Volkel 19-20 June 2009 - Comments and guesses

A suggestion will be to put the speakers close to the fence in front of the static, in stead of putting the speakers behind the aircraft parked. Maybe an extra entrance for the VIP's (close to their tent) woudl be a possibility as well. For the calimero's I do not ahve a sollution, as I do not know ...

Re: Off topic Volkel 19-20 June 2009 - Comments and guesses

During last open house at Volkel there were some complaints about the static display and te traffic driving in front of the crowd, making a hell of a noise on the metal plates they were driving on and the sound system that was far away from the fence, resulting in a lot of take off pictures with a s...

Re: in search of logs for may/june 1986

Are you sure this was at EHGR. I noted both eagles in a 334sqn hangar at Soesterberg. 77-0091 was left at EHSB after an emergency (damaged wing, after pylon fell off over Nijmegan 18 June, finally departed 30 October). Soesterberg had the following deployment from 20 May 1986 to 20 June 1986: Corone...

Re: CIV vs MIL vs Gvmt...up to you

I would turn it the other way around: Is it possible for a civilian to book a flight on a particular aircraft: if yes, Civil, if not, MIL.

Re: [PICS] New Demo F16 Klu(RNLAF)

Ok, Now also pictures form above a released, I do see there is actually a scheme, but most of the time you won't see the aircraft from above but from left or the rights sight, and to my opinion there are than some strange dark orange stripes on the tail and fuselage.

Two colours of orange doesn't represent anything to my opinion except for the fact it is orange. I can hardly image that there was a large study for this design. It looks like somebody went...
