UV filters will not help either, all that will hel is better light, i.e. sun in your back

Sorry but a polarizer does nothing to improve backlit photos, it only works in high contrast situations, which these are not (quite the opposite).

Shoot with the sun in your back for best results. Only in a few situations do backlit shots work.

The flat colors have more to do with the backlit and hazy conditions that with your lens.

Hi Guys The TOU was a huge mistake. It was rushed and just copied from one of their other websites and thus not tailored to a.net with its photographers.
