According to Associated Press (AP), A-10s attacked near Brega on Monday.

Anyone who can/will provide latest info about 81st Fighter Squadron A-10Cs at Aviano AB?

Re: Libya - UN no-fly zone - Coalition overview

Ps: Bit of topic, but still about bases in the south: today 10 FT A-10s arrived from Qatar at Sigonella, but will probably continue in next few days westbound.... A-10s left for Lajes today  . In contrast, a personal contact from the United States told me today: "The 75th finally left Qatar a...

Re: Lajes (Azores) (LPLA/TER) - 2011 MIL

Maybe that ten A-10Cs of the 75th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, returning from Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, are still delayed at Al Udeid AB, Qatar, 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, due to a tanker lack after starting Libya combat operations. Some days ago from a personal contact from the United S...

Re: Lajes (Azores) (LPLA/TER) - 2011 MIL

Sorry, but I don't understand that a Sramble Mod (his name is unknown to me) arbitrary removed the link to first-hand Lajes photo info, exclusively posted on my Warthog News blog and probably very interesting for at least some Scramble users. On the contrary, Scramble should be happy to get such imp...

Re: hawgsmoke 2010 @ gowen field Boise Idaho

Job well done, Roel

And special thanks for your private engagement to travel to Boise to catch all of these aircraft.

Would you share some more of your entire photo stuff? As the Warthog News editor, I'm interested in pictures and serial numbers of ALL involved Hogs.

Kind Regards
Joachim

Re: Lajes (Azores) (LPLA/TER) - 2010 MIL

Latest 23rd Wing Public Affairs info sounds like the 75th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron with an undisclosed number of A-10Cs will replace the 81st Expeditionary Fighter Squadron at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Please check: http://www.moody.af.mil/...
