Re: Luanda 4 de Fevereiro (LAD/FNLU) - 2012

That was my thought. PN-120 was seen in Marseille by many people. So what happened to it?

Man, cut down on the processing! It's way overdone as on all the posts from Greece you have made. It is not attractive, it actually strains my eyes.

What are you trying to achieve here? They would look much better if you processed a little less.

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 7-8 July 2012

No Korean C-130 or other support. The T-50's will be transported in after being dismantled and re-assembled once in the UK. So probably a couple of AN-124's used for transport, probably to somewhere like Brize Norton and then flown from there to RIAT once assembled and test flights completed.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the site is now back on line. Unfortunately we had to change servers and the site was down for 2 weeks whilst we also did a revamp. Everything is now good and back up and running. Most recent report was our visit to the USS Bataan in the Med' in January. Future ...

Re: Chania/Souda (LGSA/CHQ) - 2011 MIL

Can any of you guys tell me what 'spotting' at Souda is like? Is it possible to view without trouble from security/police and if so where?

Many thanks everyone

Spotting/Photography at HL, MO, Boise, Salt Lake

I am considering a trip to Yellowstone National Park next year, followed by some travelling through Idaho, Utah etc.

Can anyone advise of possibilities to photograph or spot at Boise-Gowen Field for the A-10's, Mountain Home AFB, Hill AFB and Salt Lake City for the ANG KC-135's

Oceana 2005 query

I am trying to ID a couple of FA-18's seen at Oceana a day or so after the airshow in September 2005 as follows: An FA-18A or C with code NJ(301 I think) that carried Marine titles with a very large Red Star on the tail and in Blue/grey camo. Plus a FA-18B/D with the code NJ337 seen at the same time...

The AH-1P should indeed be an AH-1S, however correct C/n should be 22019 not 24019???

Re: MCAS Miramar UH-1Y AH-1Z

I think you will find that HMLAT-303 still operates the UH-1N, as it is sole the training squadron for the USMC and the East Coast Squadrons still operate the UH-1N. No front-line West Coast units operate the UH-1N any more but HMLAT-303 do. See my report at http://jetwashaviationphotos.com/3rdMAWUS...
