Daar kwam het systeem van Olympus als allerbeste uit, terwijl de methode in de EOS400D als matig werd omschreven en de oplossing in de Sony Alpha als nutteloos. Klopt, om te controleren of je stof op je sensor hebt moet je dan ook je diafragma zo 'groot' mogelijk maken (f22 of zo) en dan een heldere lucht fotograferen.

Maar waarom al die handmatige settings? In veel gevallen kan het processortje dat duizenden berekening per seconde uitvoert een betere inschatting maken dan de fotograaf... Er zijn uitzonderingen zoals bij propellorkisten, witte kisten etc. maar voor de rest kan de automatische stand echt heel veel....

Poeh, heb geen zin om alles nu te lezen, maar mogelijke oorzaken kunnen zijn: - de kisten op Rotterdam zijn wit en blauw. Die kleuren leiden al gauw tot een verkeerde belichting.
