Sounds like very fake news. MiG-29's have insufficient range to make it to Libya without stopovers in hostile areas. They would have to be shipped in secret, along with the personnel and material that is needed to support them.

EADS pitched a SEAD/ECR-version of the Typhoon, which would have to be developed first. AFAIK, the Growler is the only off the shelf solution on the western market.

Let op, het gaat om de reserveveld functie en niet dat er totaal geen fighters meer zouden mogen komen. Het artikel is eigenlijk niet zo heel eenduidig te interpreteren. Er staat dat fighters geen noodlanding meer mogen maken en als dat al niet eens meer mag zie ik ook niet zoveel ruimte om nog op ...
