Re: Thoughts about Air Defender

This exercise is the 2023 event of the Magday exercises. Next to the USAF which has its regular deployments, the ANG is the only organisation that can generate this much aircraft. The Magday exercises and its function are widely published. Google is your friend. 2023 is the year in which MAGDAYs wo...

Re: Air Defender 2023

According to a tweet of a local spotter, 7 CO ANG F-16's came into Pease yesterday. Judging by the pictures one in anniversary scheme and another one was an Alabama Viper with a red tail. I think we can assume this was their final stop before crossing the pond.

Re: Conflict in Ukraine: military movements & news

Well some conversion would be necessary I guess, but the Polish AF will most likely have experience with that.

Re: Conflict in Ukraine: military movements & news

I'm having a hard time keeping track of this whole 'western jet fighters for Ukraine' saga: - UK is training Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16's. This can only be the elementary and basic fast jet training I guess and conversion to the F-16 would need to be done in/by another country. - Sweden is trainin...

AETC lijkt me wel nodig, kunnen de studenten alvast leren hoe ze de juiste kist op de flightline moeten vinden zonder dat er een nummer op staat :good:
