Wouldnt agree with ya spOOk. (R)IAT had a much heavier RAF and USAF presence but lacked the more exotic visitors that we get today. To be honest id be more exited to go to more recent RIAT's then 10-20 years ago.

Hi lads, on what day can we expect most arrivals for RIAT? Im planning to go thursday and friday, if thursday is quiet tho i might head to RAF Lyneham or RAF Brize Norton.

After visiting a few airshow sites i realised that every site had a picture of the Red Arrows displayed on their homepage even if they arent even listed as participating :? . So i realised that the red Arrows are the icons of flying displays, arguably the bestknow display team. But in my opinion not...

I just dont see the logic in investing billions of Pounds to develop a new fighter and selling/grounding/canabilising them after only a few years in service, why not remake/redesign a proven fighter instead of starting from square one. What a waste of money!!

Looking good so far, Fair play to them!!!

Hi all, both Hercs shot at Shannon yesterday. Last time i saw 165314 it had the standard USN colours as 164993 has.
Any ideas why it was changed?
