Re: hawgsmoke 2010 @ gowen field Boise Idaho

USAIR, Two Osan's are the 78-0615 & 78-0632. I understand that there where 3 or 4 under the sun sheds when we paid a visite last October. I 'll check if I can find the other serials. Regards, Charles That would be greatly appreciated. Confirmed by photo that the OS A-10 at AMARC is 80-0247 with the...

Re: hawgsmoke 2010 @ gowen field Boise Idaho

BTW the only sqns that are not there are from Osan, and spangdahlem, the pilot's are probably here, and fly on the local hog's. This was Roel's remark on page 1 of this thread..... Yes, I did understand that part. 2 "OS" A-10's however made it to Davis Monthan last week and we were wondering if the...

[Birmingham Int'l AP ] Alabama Nov 26 , 2010

Drove to Birmingham Alabama in blistering cold (37F) to capture the museum pieces on display at the airport , only to find out the museum was closed and the airport on display are in disarray and nearly impossible to photograph but got a small amount of interesting aircraft in return for the efforts...

Nashville International Airport > October / November

Visited Smyrna,Tennessee and this airport a few miles South of Nashville International Airport houses some real gems from the 70's in the form of several 'derelict' Boeing 727's and Jetstream 31's. Re: Nashville International Airport > October / November

The Fall / Winter season here in TN is suppose to be around the 50's , but 70's is unseasonably high. As far as CCI 'Capital Cargo International' they have been around for quite some time and operate a fleet of 727/757's. They operate out of Miami (FL) and Toledo (OH) and other smaller Cargo Hubs ma...

Unseasonal high temperature of 78F today , but because of the low fall sun it created a great backdrop for taking pictures at Nashville International Airport. Re: California ANG C-130J around Palmdale

The '4' on the fuselage denotes the fire-fighting number , since some of the States in the U.S shy away from the older 'C130' fire-fighters , States like CA have asked the USAF to help out battle the annual fire-fighting season.
