You're right! That's what you get when you think you remember but fail to check the facts

Anyway, we're getting there. Wonder how many mods they can still do before they run out of tail to put (++++++) on

The old ones are SF260D and not SF260M but you are right with the + on the rudder. That is not quite correct... The first series (ST-01 through ST-36) were in fact SF.260MB when delivered new to the BAF. Later on, they bought additional (second hand) Marchetti's of the subtype SF.260D (starting fro...

Also flying:
F-16AM FA57, FA98, FA71/FS
To those I can add two more: FA-67, FA-83. In total, 6 local F-16's flew after the TLP's had landed.

Quick log: LOG wednesday 10 sep 2008 The CSAR choppers had not returned before I left at 1500LT Only the EC725 found it's way back; it returned around 16:15 lt in spectacular fashion: low level and very fast. Unfortunately, as on the days before, it flew over the farms to the south of the spotting ...

This does not work for the ultralights (F-J*** registrations). Still looking for a site where to get info on french ultralight registrations. Grtz Arjen Short answer: Google  Long answer: as I explained before, there is a certain risk in writing down the F-J*** "registration" as official, eve...

Iemand suggesties?

The Me.108 has been used by the FrenchAF, because the engine was French when it arrived at SzolnokAB. In that case, it MIGHT not be a "genuine" Messerschmitt Bf108. First production of the Bf108 was in Germany, but was transferred to occupied France in 1942 where some 100 were built by SNCAN (Nord)...

I walked all the way along to the C-17, not realising that the apron was open - I was amazed to see the line of Gripens along there. On the way back I caught the Kiddie road-train which left the apron airside and drove along the front of the stored MIG-29s.   8) ... The only one that could be read off from there was 03, but there were several others visible standing next to it. Anyone? Any hel...
