Alitalia Express Embraers at Lille

On our way to Landi (by bus) we saw two Alitalia Express Embraers parked nose-to-nose on the apron closest to the highway. They appeared to be stored or were on long-time parking. Anyone for the i/d's?

14 has no badge, but *should* belong to the CEV. Checked "14" while looking for info on the Standard 5 of the SEM: its precise operator is/was the Detachement SEM of the CEPA (Centre d'Expérimentations Pratiques de l'Aero[navale]), which is located at Istres. And on the topic of the new colours of ...

Do you have some more informations about the upgrades? (how many will be updated, which version have the other aircrafts ...) As far as I know, 35 out of the remaining 43 operational SEM's are to be upgraded to Standard 5, the last one to be redelivered to the Aeronavale in July 2009. Those that ar...

Also, was this a special version as it had a radome under the fuselage :?: That depends on what you call "special". This version is the Nord 262E, equipped with a surveillance radar under the fuselage, whereas the Air Forces Nords were models -A, -AEN or -D and were transports and/or trainers. This...

Gateguards: 11 ?? F-8P nn FN Marked as “29” Preserved near South-east ramp: 29 F-8P nn FN Anniv. mks. If I correct the info in the "airshow"-page of Landi, I have to correct the info in this section as well: F-8E(FN) 29 at the gate REALLY is the 29, and F-8P 11 is the one that's in the disbandment ...

For now, I have one question remaining: what four SEM's flew the formation demo in the afternoon? If I remember correctly: -there were four SEMs on the east flightline: 6, 24 (Afghanistan-grey), 55 and 69 -during the display, I think I saw 24 still sitting on the tarmac -afaik, the display was flown...

I have 11 as no badge, 13 has a 11 F badge as has no. 3. 14 has no badge, but *should* belong to the CEV. SEM "14" is the first SEM that was upgraded to the "version 5" standard; that would make a detachment to the CEV logical. It had additional "Super Etendard Modernisé version 5" titles on both s...

Does anyone have (a link to) more information about the Journée Portes Ouvertes on Sunday 29th in terms of flying programme or static? The links above are a little sketchy. You are right, but that is all that is available on official websites and there doesn't seem to be a dedicated Open Day websit...

Re: corrections june 21st

The one at Leeuwarden had also US Army titles on the boom but also a roundel from an other air force (driehoek) on the boom, what country is this from? That's not a roundel of an airforce; it's the identification mark of the US Army unit this bird is painted to show. I don't know which one (I am no...

Is the G-HUEY really still the old AE413 from the Argentines.
Yes, G-HUEY was/is ex AE-413. The link you mention relates to a SECOND UH-1: G-UHIH/72-21509 (as it states in the caption  ); THAT bird is ex US Army only.
