c/n’s F-84F??

Post by witje »

Is there a website with known construction numbers for F-84F’s? Seems like not much known about these ones.

Hoi Martijn

As far is I know, there are only USAF numbers known and no c/n.
I don't know a website, but checked several books in my collection such as
Dutch Militairy Aviation 1945-1978 by P.A. Jackson
Vliegend in Nederland Thunderstreak G.A. Hilterman
and they also give only the ex USAF numbers

I checked identatie of KLu F-84F P-226
Also sources as NMM give only USAf numbers
https://collectie.nmm.nl/nl/collectie/detail/471202/

and Aerovisuals
https://aerialvisuals.ca/AirframeDossie ... rial=17639

The Database from scramble has only the USAf number.

But if there is a database i would like to know it also.

greetings

If you have the USAF-serials, you can use

https://www.joebaugher.com/

to cross-reference

Also no c/n’s on that site.
Only some F-84E’s and F-84G’s have known numbers

I checked the c/n plate of a few F-84Fs in the past, and they only had the USAF serial on them. The c/n part was always blank. My understanding is they never issued a c/n for those, for some reason.

Checked multiple references on the web, none of them refers to a c/n at any time. As suggested by Patrick it seems the c/n was equal to the aircraft serial numbers as can be found on https://www.joebaugher.com/usaf_fighters/p84_10.html (amongst other sites)
