A nice and sunny day at Florennes :D

(I screwed up on the Polish F-16's, and the Greek 2000's aborted their flight  )

Nice pictures, but one small remark.
You posted the pics on March 31 but the title says April 1st.
I guess you took them on the 31st of March or before.

EBFS - Florennes 31 March 2009

A nice day out with Hans resulted in the pictures below. Sun, aircraft, friends!

We arrived at about 11.15 and catched some F-16s returning:

About 12.30 the first TLP participants departed:

Then quickly to the other side for some landing shots:

Hi Arnold,

Great shots, perfect light!

Hi Melchior,

Nice shots of the helo's but your pics seem to be a little overexposed, or is it my screen?

Where did you photograph the heli's, next to the main runway or next to the parallel one, during take off or landing? Didn't the Hinds fly or were they out of reach?

Most probably my screen (notebook), will try to change them later on. the pictures were made next ot the parallel runway. The Mi-35s flew as well, but I noticed them too late when they landed..

Hi Jeroen, to me they are a little bit to blueish. Sharpness and so is correct only the color balance is to blue.

A pity the HAF Mirage 2000's didn't participate in the CSAR-mission. But hey... the weather was awesome and the aircraft that flew could be photographed really well in the landing and ocassionally during take off. Anyway three more...

Thanx Thijs for the input... although on my Eizo CE-240W screen (calibrated) they don't look too blueish. Hmmmm.... I just updated Nikon Capture NX2 from 2.1. to 2.2.... maybe something in the basis settings like color management has changed to a default during the update??? I will have a look ASAP...

thanx again Jeroen
