Translation:
On the occasion of the Romanian Aviation and Air Force Day, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, depending on the weather conditions (reserve, July 11), starting at 09:00, at the Crucea Eroilor monument on Vârful Caraiman, an event will be held "Spotter Day" type.
The activity involves flying over Prahova Valley and the Crucea Heroes monument with military aircraft belonging to the Romanian Air Force: F-16 Fighting Falcon, C-130 Hercules, C-27J Spartan, IAK-52, IAR-330 and IAR-99 as well as S-70 BlackHawk belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Extra 300 aircraft belonging to the Romanian Aeroclub.
During the event, spotters and media representatives who wish to participate are expected at the Crucea Eroilor monument on Vârful Caraiman, without the need for prior accreditation.
The activity represents a unique opportunity both for the Romanian Air Force and for all participants, being the first time such an event has been organized.
