status 13-01-2009 PM:
'the beast' staat er nog steeds geparkeerd, met een Saan-kraan er dicht in de buurt, en waarom staat die daar????

Ook staan de OFA en OFB op dat platform.

De Saan kraan staat al weken op deze plek en heeft niets te maken met de SLM B747.

Hopelijk is er nog iets van te zien.
Wordt bewolkter / mistiger en zo te zien komt er ook neerslag aan... (buienradar)

@SLM1 off blocks 1300lt, airborne 1322lt ex Kaagbaan ( RW24 )
and on the way to Marana (Pinal Airpark) !

I was there with camera & videocamera, but helaas peanutbutter, very very poor poor visability... :cry:
My question now, did somebody captured the radio-telephony? Dan hebben we tenminste nog iets?!

Yes Ger I had the same feelings back in the days... I remember PH-BUO rockin' her wings when leaving EHAM, departing from RWY24...
...in better weather conditions...

:lol: No I did not........but what a difference between the "giant" KLM en small company SLM / Surinam Airways. The very very FIRST aircraft that was their own PROPERTY and not leased....This was a very big step for Surinam Airways :worship:
this former PH-BUW is a very very GOOD airplane and even the KLM pilots were sad to leave this old lady......
PZ-TCM carried me several time across the great Atlantic Ocean and it was a PLEASURE flying with this lady...............

That's why I am so SENTIMENTAL Ger.......... :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

somekind of "love / secret realationship" with the PZ-TCM.......

Hoping for a third life as a cargobird somewhere.....
