Zigermeet 2011 Mollis LSMF 9/10juli11

Post by Triple Nickel »

Hi All,

Just got back from Switserland. Goal was the zigermeet 2011, and the A-10 action between the mountains.

The A-10 got cancelled, due to operational requirements, (or the USAF has a very stealthy silent hog) :unknown: , but the other stuff was nice also. In the mornings (until 13.30) the light is good, but thereafter the sun goes in your face). So at that time i decided to go up in the mountains and do some shooting from there.

It was a bit too hot (27-30degrees celcius) to my liking. So mountain view (=shadow) was my prefered spot... :Yahoo!:

Here are some of the results:

1. Patrouille De Suisse, seen from the Obersee strasse 800m above the town of Nafels.

2. F/A-18 Hornet Demo, seen from the showgrounds.

3. Tigerhunter J-4206 diving back to the field, seen from showground.
Image

4. Super Puma with a very nice demo.

5. Hunter in Patrouille De Suisse colors seen from the mountains.

6. Another view at the F/A-18 from showground.

7. PC-7 team, turning back to Mollis. Seen from showground.

8. "Ziger-hunter" seen almost on top of his loop. (view from mountain).

9. J-4086 coming out of the loop and diving back to the field. Seen from Oberseestrasse (Mountainview)

10. Superconnie...

By the way, it's 'Patrouille Suisse' and 'Patrouille de France' , to make you remember it's even painted on their aircraft.. :?
