Soesterberg(?) 2012 MIL

Post by SG Berlicum »

Hi,

today I wasworiking around the eastern end of the old runway at Soesterberg (spottershill). A F-16 made some kind of low approach from east to west and pulled it straid up somewere in the middle of the rumway. Afther that a AH64 was hanging around for 20 minutes close to the same spot.
Does anyone know wat this was all about? (any callsiongs or serials welcome!

On the 1st of July every year the military of the Air Force who lost their lives are remembered at the National monument in the middle of Soesterberg Airbase. Because this year the 1st is on a Sunday, the flypast and ceremony was held on Monday 2nd of July. Normally the flyby consists of a 4-ship performing a missing man formation (one aircraft pulling up sharply towards the sky).
