That first Prowler really is gruesome!

You call this a photocall. Was it like photocalls organised here in Europe? Organised by the base for a group of spotters and anyone can register for it.

Im not sure how photocalls are handled in Europe but as with ours it was done through our group AzAP (Arizona Aviation Photographers), we were out on the runway with three other groups, APSoCAL, Fence check and PHX Spotters, since there were such limited spots each group selected who went, I was one of the lucky ones. Thanks for the positive comment on the Prowler, they are so much fun to shoot

Seems like over here then. Often bases (or units) organise photocalls with special events (exercises mostly). In most cases quite a large number of spotters are allowed on base with prior registration. Just never knew about photocalls in the US, hence the question. Good thing these events are organised though and lucky you with the Prowler! Not much time left for those birds I am afraid.

Thanks for posting these pictures!

Hi Chris,

I love you photos from the photocall. That's something you don't shoot every day, especially from this angles and in this light. Awesome! And as this is the photos section, you are free to post without serials if you like. Nevertheless some people appreciate it if you mention them (providing that you have them).

Please share more if you have time.

Cheers,
Iwan
