ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Madrid 6 and 7 SEP 2014 phototopic

Post by Dutchman »

Hi all,

Went to Madrid on the 6th and 7th september together with Jeroen (Bokkum). It was my first trip to Madrid, so was quite happy to catch some South American carriers. Highlight of my trip was the Cubana IL96, Jeroen was also very happy to see this one! :-)

Here a summary with some hightlights:

Image
EC-JLE, One of the many IB A340-600's

EI-DHV, One of the many FR flights a day.

HZ-AQK, One of the newest A330-300's of SV.

EC-LNH, wearing Skyteam c/s.

SP-ENC

XA-MAT

Image
LV-LPV, unfortunately with skyteam c/s and not their beautifull blue c/s. The second day we got a all white livery only with titels... bit dissapointed.

Image
N967CG, Great livery, first day all AV flights departed on an another runway, but the second day I was lucky and two AV flights passed my lens :-)

Image
CU-T1251, great plane, definately the highlight of the weekend!

Cheers,

See this link:

It's spot 1 on their map. The Scramble map is not complete unfortunately. According to the Spanish spotters at http://www.aire.org/rnac/madrid/ , spotting is legal from outside the fence and you should not have problems. Most of the times, there are Spanish spotters on the hill as well.
