On Wednesday 9 September 2015:
http://www.pprune.org/military-aviation ... aptor.html
rumours of a 3 sqn Typhoon (call-sign Zenith) splashing an F22 (call-sign Hawk1) during ACM over the North Sea
Rumours, rumours ...
With the number of spotters around SP, I guess they would not miss that 3 F-22 departed on Wednesday and only 2 came back...
2 took-off at 13:25 ... and came back...
'Splashing' means being the winner in ACM, that's hardly the same as actually çrashing...

Based on what?
You are completly wrong!
Two took off at 10:15LT and landed at 13:25LT.
In the afternoon another F-22 was heard (typical engine sound) while taxi but was not seen taking off nor landing.
Except for the departure of the waves in the morning all traffic was taking off and landing via RWY05.
