This diverted triple was due to a lithium battery fire in a passenger's phone. The crew then went out of hours resulting in all passengers and crew being put up in a hotel, something that also happened to joining pax at KUL and JKT, where KL809 was destined.

I hope KLM were well-insured for that one...........
