EHAM 23-08-2009

Post by skycruiser »

Hi,

1625-1900 : JL will operate B777-300ER on JL411/412 instead of the short variant.

Do not expect JA738J / JA739J / JA740J on this flight

Regards,
Eric

Indeed. The 3 aircraft I mentioned have the newest First Class suites and Business Class product, and at this moment only serve the key routes NRT-JFK and NRT-SFO, until the other aircraft will be reconfigured.

I you are talking about 3 B772 (JA701J/702J/703J), indeed they won't come since the engine rating is lower and insufficient to fly the AMS route.
Also the cabin configuration is different on these 3 B772. You can find them in Southeast Asia (e.g. CGK, KUL, DPS etc.)

For the rest, all B772ER's are coming to AMS.

Eric

Regaring the first post;

The mentioned JL411/412 flight is currently planned to be operated by aircraft JA732J.
This aircraft flies in oneworld special livery.

Subject to changes.

And your last time to see a JL freighter in daylight, since all schedules will operate at night from this Sunday (for the regular flights).

Expected RWY for this one?
Yesterday it arrived on 18R, winds look the same for today.
What's the chance that it will land at 18C (inbound peak?)
And what's the best frequency to hear the RWY assignment for this flight when it contacts eham? 119.050?

They will get their Runway Assignment on Amsterdam Radar. As Jal is comming from the East/North, folowing freqs are the ones to be monitored 134.375 124.875 128.575. (personaly I think 134.375 is the one)

Runway 18C is planned to open from 1600LT.

JL411 will operate on ATC 134.375 > 119.05 > (131.5 or 118.4) > Tower

Runway assignment is given already on 134.375 (first expectation) and again on 119.05.

Aircraft will arrive around 16.10L now, due negative wind. But low traffic might mean it will land on 18R anyway.

FYI, Turkish A340-300 read, at 120km/h and by Mk I eyeball, as TC-JIK. Correct?
