thats right bassie.

the flight off 6 F-16's will take off at 10:00. The KDC-10 is from 10:00 in the air. The 2 spare aircrafts are not going airborne. So the hole flight can be handeld in one time at the KDC-10.

There is another delay, this time 4-6 weeks! All due to problems with the KDC10. The IL76 had already arrived and was being loaded but will be unloaded again to depart empty!

06-03-07 IL-76 @ Twente

Just perfect on time 11:30 LT is the Ilyushin IL-76TD of Volga- Dnepr Airlines Landed on Twente airport.
It makes a low flight a cross the airport and turning right for the landing.
It was a beatiful sight to see the Il-76 landing (In bad wether) at Twente Airport.
Thanks for the infomation at the Panoravia Forum (p.s. be happy and kind to each other at that Forum, we are there for 1 thing and that is is too see beatiful planes).

The message is confirmed now. At 15:30Lt today they canceled the flight for tomorrow. The flight will go now in 3 a 4 weeks
Il76 will depart tomorrow.

a pitty of the delay, but at least the weather is better over 3/4 weeks, then tomorrow 8)

I guess the IL76 is RA-76493 (based on SBS-1 logs), but it would be nice if at least someone could confirm this.

Several people have been asking this question already. These kind of things do matter to spotters.

ETD fri 09/03 at 08:00 LT (however it changed 3 times today...)
