F-16 delivery flight

Post by Starman »

I guess these could be connected to the F-16s due over LLLL at 15.10 yesterday (Friday) afternoon, and the 'tanker 240 which landed at the same time! Serials anyone?

Israeli F-16 delivery

Post by Le Addeur noir »

Hello

As the last IDF F-16 delivery,in late March 2008 were serials 873 to 876,the next ones should be serials from 877 upwards.

The destination in Israel is highly likely to be Ramon AB.

I managed to learn these Retro 61-64 are Israeli AF F-16s. But don't know their exact destination.

Hi All,

Today another nice day with just the aririval of some nice F-16´s!!
Four of them had desert colours and one normal grey.

WEDNESDAY 06-08´08:

16514 C-212-100 PAF Esq-711
16804 C-130H PAF Esq-501
165313/JW-313 C-130T USN VR-62
80036/D KC-135R USAFE 100ARW
91711 KC-10A USAF 305AMW
881 F-16DI IDF delivery flight
882 F-16DI IDF delivery flight
884 F-16DI IDF delivery flight
886 F-16DI IDF delivery flight
811 F-16C HAF delivery flight???

The last F-16 was grey and the serial and country patch were painted over. The place of the serial was in the top of the tail, much higher that the IDF ones.

A very nice day again!

I was just about to ask what kind of a/c "Trend" means, but GIPS fortunatedly published his today logs.
Nevertheless I'd like to ask two questions:
1) What is the key of addressing delivery flights by these names like "Retro" "Trend" etc.? Do these names mean something special, e.g. destination?
2) Is it a normal practice to mix two kinds of delivery - like the ones above: IDF & HAF? Or maybe it's only a common flight over the ocean?

PS. Maybe it's not the best place to ask these question - suggest me please where to put them.
