A Mi-8 got licked today. Apparently searching for one of the Su-25 pilots, it was shot down.

Flanker shot out of the sky near Chernihiv. One pilot captured, the other was killed. Not sure of type, Su-34?

If it is a total of 450 aircraft, then certainly not 60 squadrons, more like 18-20. With current pace of losses, they are reaching attrition levels of nearly 10%. I also think they are using limited numbers of jets at any day. Looks like they have difficulties with their commons and control system to handle many units at the same time within the multi dimensional dynamics of warfare.

That's the one I mentioned above, now confirmed as a Su-34 indeed.

Russia lost many aircraft in the first days.

We have to get more information about the first losses. Type of aircraft, date, place and identity (and source) etc.

Russia is having a very bad day today, after the Hind and Su-34 earlier today. And apparently an Su-25, but I’m not sure that one was today

I saw another video of two captured pilots as well, bloodied in the back of a pick-up truck. Can't have been from any of the mentioned planes, so apparantly another two-seater came out of the sky.
