Collating other reports above, the list for the 8 looks to be as follows:-

FB-20
FB-18
FB-05
FB-23
FA-77

so 3 more to identify.

Anyone got any more? (hoping that FA-110 or FB-12 were 2 of the unknown 3  )

Rod :)
I don't know at what time the fly-by took part. I was at Kleine Brogel that day.

At 15:30 lt the FB-22 arrived at KB.

The other F-16's in the afternoon;
FB-20
FB-18 OCU
FB-05/FS
FB-23
FA-110
FA-95
FA-100
FA-77

These aircraft arrived at 16:15 back.

I hope this will help.

Just checked my pictures and the flypast at Florennes was 15:25 local +/- 5 mins or so.
That would appear to fit in nicely.

Thanks again

17 June TLP Farewell Party

Post by Lifeliner 3 »

Hi all,

The Farewell event is not open to the public. But is there any info about which visiting aircraft are to expect? I plan to drive to Florennes the preceding day (16 June), assuming that most aircraft will arrive on that day.
On the TLP website http://www.tlp-info.org/modules/news/ar ... ?storyid=7" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it says that on Wednesday morning 17 June, there is a visit scheduled to TLP Flightline and a Static Display (for the people invited to the Farewell ceremony).

Thanks for a wonderwell start of the 2009 season!
And thanks for everyone who made the Spottersday 20 May possible!

Given some limitations at Florennes, like the distance between runway and taxiway´s and the aproved place to stok spotters at the base, it was a great day at Florennes. Only real `attention` point I would like to make was the lack of some toilets at the spottersplace at the southside of the runway.

Everything else, like the permit to use the whole slope some everybody was able to shoot some descent pictures, made it an great day!

Three Cheers!

Hope to see you a next time at the base for an simular but than BAF and not TLP event.

Greetings,

Stafsels

A guess would be that the toilets were at the place the spotters were supposed to be as well during the day. But after a lot of comments about being north of the runway they changed that, but it was probably too late to change the entire plan, so they left the toilets and the BBQ where they were planned.

I had a great day, of course there's always things that could have been better, but this way we'll have something to wish for...

Kudos for the organisation!!!
