The Caracal order dates back to June this year. Re the Italian Eurofighters: during an Airheadsfly.com visit to Turin earlier this year, several Typhoons were seen with MM numbers that have since not shown up in Italian service.

Last march, the US State Department approved the possible sale of 17 Boeing CH-47F Chinooks to the Netherlands. Wether these choppers - and their exact numbers - will actually be ordered, remains to be seen.

A Hungarian Gripen slid of the runway this afternoon at Caslav. Crew ejected and ok. The jet went off at the end of the runway at high speed.
