Re: OPENDAY GRAZZANISE 28-3-2023 CENTO ANNI DELL' AERONAUTICA MILITARE

Re the two "Spillone" on the field, the "outer" one is (almost certainly) the MM6705 (note, not MM6701) 9-51, formerly displayed at Capodrise but now stored at Grazzanise. The one closer to the building was a lot more faded, still working on it! Apparently the 9.90 is known (but ...

With some cajoling a soldier was persuaded to escort us down the hill near the fire station to shoot the T-33 MM55-2980

Davis Monthan / AMARC 2023

Help required! Early on Monday 6th Feb we made an overflight of the facility but suffered a "camera malfunction". In the area known as the South Maintenace Shelter (not actually a shelter these days) were the following; 6 x MH-60, 3 x MQ-8, 3 x F-16, 2 x AH-1 & an F-15 for which GMAP h...

Heaven forbid the ramps will be full of innumerable European piston powered so called aerobatic teams. When I go to an airshow in Italy I want 1 Euro pizza and hundreds of Italian military aeroplanes (& a couple of Spillone). And what serious photographer shoots inside at an airshow

Erik, with the 100 Anni flypast this month, 100 Anni airshow in June (& NTM later), just about everyone & their uncle (or aunt) will be in or around Rome this year. Scuderia Baldini http://www.scuderiabaldini.com/ whether you need the Spilone or not should be top of the list, maybe FC will h...

I believe the (Royal) Australian Air Force still tank their Boeing and Lockheed Martin fighter jets, plus Boeing surveillance fleet from Airbus airtankers, so it's still g'day and not g'nite Airbus yet down under :D

Re: TLP 23 -1 Albacete

The F-16D backseater is not Greek I think. Probably the TLP "referee". Look at his helmet & flightsuit, different colour/type than the pilot in front.. It also was not part of a 2- or 4-ship. My Eeenglis not so good: "with the pilot of the last one back, 053" not the back se...

Re: Air Mobility Command removing markings

Below (from my photographer) is how all the 22nd ARW Pegasii look now, at least they still (10th Feb) have the serials on the tail. Equally worrying is that a 317th C-130J has just visited my local jetport and not "pinged" on either ADSB nor FR24 (thankfully not reqd!) 76031 by SJP , on Fl...
