Hi guys, Thanks for this update, I have already adjusted the database. Although I try to visit as many websites and forums as possible, it is simply impossible to visit them all. That is why you can leave your comments in the 'Send Updates !!'-part of our on-line databases. Or check out the name of ...

Scramble 355 will be out in a couple of days

Tomorrow (Saturday) is the day many of us have been waiting for for a long time. The first Scramble Aviation Day will be held in the Merwestein Event Centre in Nieuwegein. This will be a great day out for everyone with the slightest interest in aviation. At 10.00 hr we will start with a fair (DSC -...

Scramble 354 will be out in a couple of days

As mentioned in last month’s news edition, many of the Scramble editorial team are working hard to prepare one of the most interesting days of 2008: Scramble Aviation Day . Last weekend, we have tested the quiz for the Dutch Spotters Championships (NSK), which will also be held on that day. Thirty-s...

The Scramble stand is located in ZONE 20, just across from the Royal Netherlands Air Force Fokker 50 U-05.

It was a wonderful day today and we hope to see you all on Saturday.
The weather is looking good for tomorrow, so no reason not to show up.

I know pictures are not allowed here, but this seemed the best spot to put this little drawing.

This should be the correct version of the aircraft on deck on Saturday afternoon.
AC-614 indeed was on deck.

SOP to avoid people from taking pictures as there is some equipment built in, not to be shown to the outside world. Would love to hear the source behind this remark. I do not know the real reason, but it sounds a bit BS to me. Everybody entering the ship has a guide. Cockpits are over ten feet in t...

Pluggie rules! Patrick, thanks for the corrections, much appreciated. Sorry about the Italian Falcon, will do my best next time. Can't find any additional info on the F-AZRD being H61 or H103, my info comes from EMOOS. Have just posted log on MSF and Touchdown, perhaps we get confirmation from there...

Paris 29/30 March W&R and Warbirds

The open day at the Air France technical school at Massy was the reason for a little jaunt to Paris. Again the trip was planned through Google Earth and programmed into TomTom. Hans van Herk joined me at Breda around 20.15hr and we drove to Paris and had our first beer before midnight. The weather f...

Stephan, Below the Google Earth W&R situation at Koln. http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg240/Jurgen1968/Koln.jpg And a bit more detail http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg240/Jurgen1968/Kolndetail.jpg Is the position of the Alpha jet correct? I think the northern two aircraft (G91 and F-104)...

Hi Stephan,

I think we are talking about two completely different things.
The Mudra barracks are in town, not near the Koln-Bonn airfield.

The G91 and F-104 are clearly visible on Google earth.
Please tell me the coordinates of your Alpha Jet.

W&R Cologne area + little LOG

A ‘new’ Egyptian Buffalo at Köln-Bonn was a great incentive to get into the car and look for a couple of nearby Wrecks & Relics. Planning the trip is fairly easy these days with most German W&R locations programmed into my TomTom navigation device. 15mar08 ED11 Köln-Airport Möbel Do27B-1 (HF...
