I think the Korean A-50 has also a good chance...being basically a small F-16 it can refuelled in the air something the others can't..

time will tell...it is however a nice addition no matter which aircraft they choose!

An IDF/AF F-16 crashed in the Westbank today. The pilot, Asaf Ramon, son of Ilan Ramon who got killed in the spaceshuttle disaster, was unfortunately killed in the accident.
Due to this crash all F-16's in the IDF/AF are grounded pending investigation.

it means that it will be too costly and dangerous to dismantle the Chinook and fly it back with a different Chinook.
an ideal way for us spotters to see new Chinooks...as it is going fast down with those British Chinooks.

Kijk hier ligt nu een stuk verantwoordelijkheid van ons als spotters en van scramble als moderators... Als de yanken cq Duitsers nu niet willen dat er infra op de foto's te zien is...plaats ze dan niet. We vragen zelf om de problemen, het is duidelijk dat de security van de yanken en de Duitse poliz...

A-10 81-0962 is confirmed as an A-10C. It was confirmed as so at Mildenhall the end of may.
I won't be surprised if the other one is also already an A-10C. Both lack the antennae's that identify them as C models.
