Er kwam om 16.30LT ook nog een Fokker over. Ik weet niet precies welk type maar het was een F27/50/60. Hij vloog zo laag dat ie wel bij de visitors gerekend mag worden. Zojuist (10.30LT) was er weer een Awacs.... geen idee of het dezelfde was.

Zojuist op/over het veld: een F-16AM t/g of low approach en een A109 crosser over de westkant van het veld.

Zojuist (16.00h LT) een Lynx over het veld in oostelijke richting. Hoogstwaarschijnlijk een AAC-exemplaar (vanwege de ski's).

Today, during a visit at Geilenkirchen AB, the PRO mentioned that next year there will be an event to celebrate 30yr NATO, similar to the one in 2007.

Hi Iwan, I guess, all three photos were taken outside the base. No real problems with the authorities, besides some ID-checking. Spotting at NAS Oceana shouldn't be a real problem. Most well known spots are the S Ocean Blvd (approach rwy 23) and Potters Rd (approach rwy 15). See also the Scramble gu...
