Re: Phantoms, Phantoms and Eagles + other hardware day 2

Hi Dino, I don't think so. This seems to be some sort of system to grit/pinpoint something on the ground from the air (?). Here's a view from the other side. Not all RF-4's had this. It's definitively not a camera to photograph us fencecheckers...! That would be an expensive hobby! They allready hav...

Re: Phantoms, Phantoms and Eagles + other hardware day 2

Hi Dino, I keep repeating: great pictures! Like I said before (in your day 1 topic), I'm not much into the wingclipping but accidently made a few myself. I shot these a few days after you were there, on friday the 23rd. One is extreme wingclipped... I like those helmets! http://farm3.static.f...

Re: Cold War USAFE

Sad to see so much hardware has left this side of the ocean and most of it parked in a dessert or already scrapped. I totally agree Jan. Here are some more scans from me. This time real USAFE :D Peter http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2662/4134218414_84b6f328cc_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/275...

Re: Cold War USAFE

That one is from the cold war-era, but definately NOT USAFE

Regards,

Stephan

Oh no!!
Only exuse I can think of is that it is shot on an USAFE base, but that is not a very good one, I know. Was too focussed on the 111 part...
Won't happen again :D

Re: Phantoms, Phantoms and Phantoms + other hardware day1

Great pictures again!! Interesting views and compositions, although I don't understand some of the wingclippings like for instance the taxiing T-4 56-5735 and the taxiing F-15DJ 12-8074.
But nevertheless, allready looking forward to see the next day pics!

Re: Cold War USAFE

Ah great memories of the TAM88!! Nice to see some pictures again!
Here's an addition. I took this slide one on July 16th, but the F-16 sadly crashed just 10 days later.

Cheers,
Peter
