The C295 was not visible from the public area. It could be seen from the road north of the base, which is the N747..

I only miss the Polish CASA which was visible from the N747 in the northwest side (behind the derelict F-84F), together with an unknown F-16 in a shelter area a bit further down (possibly the 2nd Portuguese one). As I am not a number...

Patrick PM me if you need a good location for Da Nang landing shots! Yes they received the CN235 recently. My experience at Da Nang was that the 21's usually fly very early in the morning and again in the evening, but the helos (including Kamovs!) fly throughout the day.
