Re: Nato Tiger Meet 2011 Cambrai-Epinoy LFQI

I noticed in the log (13-5) that most of the participants took off in the afternoon.
Does it mean that they fly only one mission per day (no missions in the morning)?
(During NTM 2010 at Volkel, almost all participants flew two missions per day)

Re: NTM: Cambrai/BA103 9-20 May 2011

Any idea regarding arrival times of the participants on monday? Would it be possible to stand outside Cambrai AB (landing) or will there be special precautions taken by the base personel/police like road closures or prohibited parking, etc.? I also heard that you might run into troubles while photog...

I heard on the news that Rasmussen (NATO's boss) requested more NATO aircraft to participate in Libia.
That could be a possible reason for cancellations...

CVN77 is expected to call port in Portsmouth on the 27th of may. It is rumoured that this carrier will also participate in Exercise Saxion Warrior in UK water April and May. If so, it might indeed very well be possible that aircraft from this carrier will shop up. But before you get your hopes up t...

Re: Pre Libya no-fly-zone buildup

The Dutch Government has decided to offer the NATO the use of 6 F-16's of which 2 will be spares and the use of a KDC-10. In total a number of 200 military will be involved. Next to the people involved in the operations of the aircraft, those 200 also include staff members at HQ's and the crew of a...

Re: Lynx + crew captured in Libya - Comments

Just a stupid 'action' for the cost of a Lynx...(and not yet mentioned the 'rumours' about the possible payment that the government has done, which is quite common with this kind of situations to release the crew)
Luckily the crew is save now.

REQ: Frequencies Mildenhall, Lakenheath, Coningsby

Hi everyone, Coming week we will visit the UK for the RIAT. After that we are planning to visit Mildenhall, Lakenheath and Coningsby. Since my frequency database is not up-to-date anymore, I am looking for the latest operational frequencies that are currently in use at these bases. Can anyone please...
