Just to answer some questions: For rwy 05 take off you need 400mm on APS-C factor. If they bank also less then 400mm. The 510FS and 555FS commander aircraft have a new paint scheme, very similar to the old one but in low visibility. Also 31st OG has a new tail as you can see on the photos. Also 87-0...

On their way to Romania 6 of them landed in Aviano for fuelstop.

Reading from photos (but I have some 3/4 frontal shots) the gazelle GAL looks like 3852(probably this) or 3862... GBY/4145 (99,99% sure) If someone was in front of the taxi when they were taking off probably should read the numbers much better then me. Instead there was a Belgium F16 with the patch ...

I always used a 100-400, and in the last two year the 70-300. I have a crop factor camera and at 06 from the spotter's hill you need 250/270mm for a side shot. At rwy24 no problem always with the same lens.
