Request: Rainbow Aviation Eindhoven, 18.06.10

Hi All, After the show at Gilze Rijen I had a look at Eindhoven & peeked through the window of Rainbow Aviation. In their hangar I could see 4 aircraft that I couldn't identify: 2 Beech D.17 Staggerwings/C-43's/Travellers, one without wings & one with "American Embassy London" painted on the side (N...

Re: 18-06-2010: serial request

David -- Apache Q-10 was put in box 5, so you did see an other one! To see Q-13 you have to travel to Afghanistan or better wait untill they'll return end of the year! Best regards, Edwin Thanks Edwin. Afghanistan is quite a drive, so maybe I'll wait a few months until it returns to the Netherlands...

Re: Cambrai MNA 26/27 June

Thanks for the logs, everyone. I visited Cambrai on Sunday 27.06.10, when Mirage 2000C 95/103-KM had also joined the static. A couple of requests, please. Mid afternoon when I looked from the public area towards the Slovak An 26, a Mirage 2000C was visible in front of the SE HAS area. Can anyone tel...

Re: 18-06-2010: serial request

One request from me. On Friday 18.06.10 there was a helo (AH-64D?) in box/garage 8, behind the Finnish NH-90. Can anyone tell me the serial, please? After take-off of the Apache content of the Air Power Demo, AH-64 Q-10 was towed towards the hangar area. It could have been that one. Thanks! I was h...

Thanks for your log. Extra is D-EJFG, I think. (D-EFJG is a Bolkow BO-209 Monsun 160RV). P-51 "Old Crow" is N167F/"414450/B6-S"

Re: Crazy Czech Trip Day 3 22-5-2009 (Kbely Part)

Can't help with the L-29's, sorry. If you find out the id's can you claim the one covered in a bag? One of those philosophical spotting problems to wrestle with ;) There was at least one early model MiG-21 in that area also, natural metal/no spine, which could be seen nose on through a crack in the ...

Re: Crazy Czech Trip Day 3 22-5-2009 (Kbely Part)

Are you sure that the one Li-2 visible on the airfield was 3002? The one I saw 20.05.09 had brown upper fuselage, natural metal lower fuselage & a faded blue cheat line & what looked like a serial ending 09 on the fin. 2710 was once painted into a civil scheme as "OK-WDI/09" for a film, see http://w...

"Two more L-159 Alca's could be seen on the flightline and also one Jas-39. Unfortunetaly this flightline could not be seen from the public side."

The JAS39C was 39268/268. Can't help with the ALCA's, sorry. The flightline could be viewed from just by MiG-21MFN 4003.
