25/08/2015 Hickam AFB .... long shot

saw a RNZAF B757 and C130 take off from Hickam AFB on Aug 25th.
Managed to recognize the roundel, but they were to far out to read their serial number.
Anybody a clue which ones it were ?

that's why I only mentioned 'departs Tyndall AFB' in the subject.
when you look at the video you'll hear she is moving to Holloman AFB, NM to join the remaining fleet of QF-4s.
These are expected to phly till Q4 2016.

where to get clearance for spotting @ Hickam, HI ?

will be visiting Hawaii in August, and will definitely try to do some aircraft spotting.

Understand you'll need clearance for spotting over there.
Anybody an idea where to ask for this ?

hi there, will be visiting some States (Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Hawaii) in August. Although the trip is not 100% aircraft related, I still would like to try my luck at some airbases. Thought of taking my scanner with me. How do the Americans feel about scanners ?!? Will it be worth the hassle ...

according to my info there is only 1 :( preserved F-4 in Italy

It was s/n 63-7512 ex 163rd TFS/Indiana ANG, landed in Aviano 10.07.86. it was painted in "63040/AV", and used for GI noted last time may...

but don't forget it's a very reliable aircraft:
during the vietnam war many came home after sustaining even more damage.
