Ik heb ervaring met beide lenzen, de 300/F4 heb ik veelvuldig gebruikt op een D200 en de 300/2,8 VRII op een D700 en D200. Allebei zijn prima lensen en allebei kun je ze zeker met TC 1,4 gebruiken. Can't comment on the older 2,8 Nikon 300 mm versions, but I use a 300mm 2,8 VRII in combination with a TC 1.7. Zou toch serieus full frame voor dit bedrag overwegen. Je krijgt veel cleanere files, ben van de d200 naar de d700 gegaan.
